Demonstrating that not all HOA homeowners are satisfied with having
thier constitutional rights violated we offer the following:
http://www.starman.com/hoa/tw_summary.htm
It seems that complaint 4 in the lawsuit validates
the complaints of runaway BOARDS that govern
HOA communities and the ACLU is lending a helping
hand to powerless homeowners.
Seemingly the attempt at self goverence has no checks or balances and
often runs amuck. Unsuspecting consumers buying a home in a HOA
community seeking utopia may discover they actually live in a community
governed like NORTH KOREA
Clearly we can see the need for freedom of choice for consumers,
the policy of demanding that all new housing be HOA only is
counter productive to the interests of the american consumer.
Perhaps it's time for the federal government to step in with
some sort of affirmative action program to correct the past
and present practices of the HOA INDUSTRY.
The federal trade commision should look into the current
new housing market and determine if the HOA only doctrine
is truely market driven or a monolopy controlled by the
HOA INDUSTRY and thier legislators who accept funds
from thier HOA masters.
Regards
Tom.
