We just bought ourselves some dryer balls.

They're supposed to make your tumble dryer dry more efficiently, and
also remove static electricity.
In fact we've got a washer dryer, which we put on at night to save
money. So, unless we go to the effort of stopping it after the wash to
put the balls in for the drying, it looks like we're not going to be
using the balls at all.
Does anyone know whether the balls would be ok to go through the
washing cycle first, and then the drying cycle, or would it ruin them?
