I'm on the board of an HOA in Texas.
This HOA has existed for about 4 years, after being turned over from
the developer.
Our CC&R are filed with the county.
Our Bylaws are filed with the county.
An audit has recently discovered that our Articles of Incorporation
were never filed with the state. Can anyone provide input in regard to
the potential impact (if any) on the HOA's legitimacy, ability to
enforce restrictions, or collect dues?
