Heated Bathtub or Whirlpool or Whatever? su-texas 07-02-2006
I have read that one treatment for cancer, is to totally submerge (except
for nose & mouth), in hot water (108 degrees F) for 45 to 90 minutes.
It's called heat therapy, hyperthermia.

A regular bathtub might be too short for this.

What kind of tub could be used, & kept at exactly 108 F for an hour & a
half?

There would probably also need to be circulation of water during this
time, to keep all the water at 108 F.

And the chlorine & such in the water, would need to be filtered out.

Although I am not intending to try this treatment, I'm curious about how
it could be done.
