Help w/Minutiae of Offer? AvoidingSpam 08-18-2006
As part of an offer on my house, a buyer is asking me, the
seller, to pay the following. Would people with experience
in this area please comment?

I realize I can reject anything I want in this offer, but I
would like to get a better idea of what is customary and
reasonable. Thank you for your community service.

1.
House appraisal fee $450

2.
House appraisal Re-inspection fee $100 (unlikely to be
necessary, my agent tells me)

3.
Tax service fee $125 (agent says this is a federal
government fee)

4.
Flood zone verification $25 (seller customarily pays?)

5.
Title Company Closing Fee $450 (Buyer wants me to pay whole
fee; agent says it is more customary to pay half.)

6.
Owner's Title Insurance Policy $1000 (I vaguely recall that
the seller purchasing this policy is customary in most
transactions. For my own experience, what's a typical cost
for this?)

7.
Survey $300 (Is this almost always done and paid for by the
seller in others' experience?)
