Just thought I would share the contents of an email I sent off moments ago to a
lady real estate agent in New Mexico . . .

Hello There!
You wrote, quite humorously, as follows in your reply . . .
>The said subdivision is a tract
>of land with 40 acre parcels (not subdividable) with great
>restrictions and covenants.
We have seen many a "restriction" and "covenant", during our time of
prospecting for, finding and owning real estate, but as to just how
comically "great" such nosy neighbor intrusions into an American citizen's
private property rights may get, how widespread and popular they may be with
the various regulation-happy "up-scale" elites, I've no idea.
So, my dear fellow citizen of this, our great golden land of liberty, I can
only tell you this: As we go looking for larger tracts of property out in
the hinterlands of the U.S.A., it is because we love having space around us
in a place where we can go out of our house in the morning to a vista of
trees and sun and sky, that we may even have mountains out there on the rise
between us and any sight of the absolutely aggravating view of other
people's pushy little noses and prying eyes being poked into our privacy!
We've had it with that, totally.
So, if you are selling any land upon which there will be no restriction to
the ownership thereof, if you have some lovely stretch of pristine ground
upon which we can build, drill for water, plant our roses, peppers and
tomatoes, a spot which will be all ours and ours alone to enjoy as we see
fit, subject to nothing other than the laws of the State of New Mexico, and
the United States of America with none of these "great" nose-poking (or
picking) liberty-trashing, stinky, puny "restrictions" stuck to them like
so much runny dried snot, do please feel free--always first and foremost be
FREE, dear lady, to speak your piece and send us your Yaaaahoooo! ;-)
Thank You Very Kindly,
