Lowes has 4 JD's that HD did not carry..And JD push mowers. (Truth later).
HD has 2 JD's that they have never had, but I think the 2 boxes have the
155C?
HD has dropped Murray altogether, but there are still some in the inventory,
so hurry in to make a deal with them as they want the Murray's kaput!.
HD has picked up 3 MTD "labeled" tractors as well as 5 Cub Cadets (also MTD
manufactured), and 4 Toro's, (partly MTD manufactured) with a Z turn in the
Toro and Cub Cadet...
Truth.. Lowes JD tractors are pretty much the same ones HD had, just
re-designated labels. Hell, they are even the same price point as last years
L series.. A bell here, a whistle there in difference, that's all.
The JD tractors sold by both ARE MADE BY JD! Not MTD.
Funny point here... Lowes used to profess that they were made by MTD when
HD had them exclusively, (even though they wouldn't admit Cubs were) now
they are eatin them words...Good luck Lowes, with the "no coupons allowed"
on the JD's. Look at the fine print on the 10% off coupons you get and it
says except on John Deere and Maytag Neptune series...

More later..
