And if you think it is appropriate for RealtorsŪ to use
Procuring Cause as a way to trap unsuspecting buyers,
you are--at the least--condoning theft, if not participating,
yourself--and are not worthy of respect. Pure and simple.
Explain to me...why should a buyer be obligated to use an
agent who represents the sellers best interests, when the
agent has not made that clear, and has also not made it
clear that simply visiting a home, whether a private viewing
or at an open house, creates an OBLIGATION to the accompanying
RealtorŪ?
State laws require disclosure. The common law of agency
requires fair treatment of third partises. This belief you
apparently have is out of conformity with both.
