Dunno. Perception is reality in marketing though. There are
certainly folks who'll think long and hard about having satan's
address.
But can you quantify it? Debateable. A Buddhist, Muslim, or Hindu
may come along and happily pay your price if they like the house.
Then again, if you're in the rural midwest, I am guessing the
likelihood of that happening will be pretty darned low.
I'd be minimizing any address numbers on the house, that's for
certain. Being a couple weeks post June 6, 2006, the last thing you
want is to advertise the number of the beast in bright shiny gold
letters as the first thing the buyers sees when they pull in the
driveway. A realtor interested in a sale will quietly find the street
number, pull in and start talking about curb appeal or something
positive.
