They also target seniors suffering from mental disabilities, in a recent las
vegas
case a senior women that was suffering from a mental illness was the target
of
a non-judicial forclosure. Her home valued at 300k was sold at auction to a
relative of the attorney that handled the forclosure for only 25k. When the
scam was reported
on the local news the howard huges corporation interviened on behalf of the
senior and forced
the entire transaction to be voided and the senior was allowed to keep her
home.
Here in nevada the law allows a citizen to defend thier life and property
with
the use of deadly force. Its just a matter of time before a senior with
nothing
to lose will defend thier property against a non-judicial forclosure with
deadly
force. I believe no jury would ever convict them for ridding us of some
shifty
HOA INDUSTRY lawers, it might be a workable defense.
BTW are there any numbers on how many non-judicial forclosed properties
are sold at a fraction of thier value to family members of HOA INDUSTRY
lawers
or board members famalies of the HOA involved. I looked at the CAI website
for
some numbers but found none.
Regards
Tom.
