That is a very nice tribute to that poor woman. I've no doubt that
things would have been much worse for her had you not been around to
support her. I have known several like her that died from the stress of
trying to defend themselves and protect their homes all alone. It's
that type of exploitation and abuse that makes me shake-the-baby angry.
I do not care about HOAs or CAI...well, except for tracking CAI's
un-American activities and attempts to herd everyone into Central
Planning's Habitat Centers. I do not care to tweak or fix them- HOAs are
a failed experiment- which without consumer choice will implode all by
themselves. It is the exploitation and abuse of the weakest, the most
defenseless homeowners that drives me.
A friend sent me this link a few months ago and I thought it did a good
job of documenting the role of the trade lawyers play in all this elder
abuse.
