I'm certain that had more to do with damage control than a sense of
fairness or justice. Gaming and real estate are Nevada's two largest
industries and the Hughes Corp. is the 900-pound guerilla. You should
see how gracious the normally arrogant and condescending Sen. Townsend
is when their lobbyist, Pam Scott appears before his committee opposing
some turf-grass trivia. In fairness to Townsend, he does blow-off David
Stone when he babbles on about the fine art of foreclosing.

It's funny you should mention that. There has been more than one
conversation with street-savvy seniors so tortured by John Leach, et al
and his predatory behavior that they wake up in the middle of the night
planning what they would do if diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Nevada is
not alone, there are firms in FL, AZ, TX, and CA that follow the same
pattern and practice that I've no doubt keep seniors awake at night
reviewing their 'wet' list.
