The biggest fear the HOA INDUSTRY has is encountering someone that
knows thier rights and has the resources to back them up in federal court.
When the howard hughes corporation steped in on behalf of a mentily ill
elderly woman to stop a non-judicial foreclosure that involved a small
debt of a few hundred dollars the HOA ran in fear and forgave the debt.

In a true common interest community compasion and kindness would
rule not management companies and lawyers.

Why cannot homeowners that owe small ammounts of debt to thier HOA
do some maintanence like cutting grass or painting maybe oil the gates
to offset thier debt. Rather than fine people have them do something
simular to community service that will benifit to all the other members.
Lots of things HOA's pay to have done can be done by homeowners
its not rocket science.
