What makes you think you have any "right" to cancel?
Seriously.
Maybe you do, but is this according to statute (law) or by the terms
of the contract itself? If the first, what does the law say. If the
second, what does the contract say the cancellation terms are?
Otherwise, why shouldn't they sue you, the home market is generally
slowing down in the U.S., so if they have a signed contract, why
should they be willing to let someone out of it?
