I have just installed a smoke/fire/CO detector system where the
detectors are interconnected and have dual feed (normal 110V and
batteries). The interconnection makes all of them go off if one
detects smoke or CO. The manufacturer also offers a small relay that
allows for this system to interconnect to a standard house alarm
system and call the central in case the alarm goes off. This will be
my next purchase.
