Sadly, Ed says he doesn't think John is.

I do not know how old Ed is, but he gave a presentation at the EAA ch 1
design group a few months ago about working on the Lanier Paraplane in
the 1930's.

These days Ed is working on restoring a very large, 4 passenger
airplane made by Buhl in the 30's.
