I made it from an old undershirt with very open-weave fabric.
An elastic on the edge of the "bag" snugs under the filter rim.
There are always new accessories from Sear's and/or Ridgid
such as filter bags, a variety of filters, nozzles and such.
I am unsure if the GoreTex "Cleanstream" filter is still sold
since Sear's makes a similar one now.

The woodworker's group mentioned using panty hose or nylon stockings
over the filter but they rip easily.

I have been eyeing that 20 gallon, 6.5 bogus-peak-horsepower vac too
but I do not have the tools to measure the true suction
delivered to the end of the hose.
The marketing and packaging is effective: my 16 gal vac works
but I am always curious "is this new one /really/ any stronger?"

>I like that "hose stays connected" description

Agreed, the "Pos-I-Lock" latching-hose connector looks useful
but that's only to the bucket.
The other connections are still friction-fit.

And I think some Ridgid vacs have that too.
