I had this happen years ago with a WEGA. And it was diagnosed
as something to do with the "choke" on the back of the picture tube.
(If memory serves) I was told you can dab some silicone on the part
and it would prevent the buzzing.
BUT!!!!! I was also told that I could very easily KILL MYSELF
messing around that part of the pic tube/chassis. I guess there are
powerful electrical charges stored up in that area.
I could get it to quit for a while by banging on the back of the cabinet.
So I never cracked open the case.
