Travis Jordan is an agent for the CAI! Subcomandante 03-15-2006
You know, Sub, I got booted out from a homeowners advocate group by
Harvella Jones as one of the members suggested I was working for the
CAI.

Why? Because I posted that foreclosures due to assessment non-payment
should be allowed as the HOA needs some way to enforce assessments.
Now I am not talking about the way they do it today - allowing them to
foreclose for fines, legal fees, and interest - but actual REAL
non-payment of dues in front of an actual judge. That made me a CAI
spy!

The CAI site looks good, they present their opinions in a very valid
way, it doesn't suprise me that some people would support their outward
facing opinions.

Sub, you produce some good information, but your credibility gets
really shot down with all the baseless accusation and communist
comparisons. Suggestion: try informing based on facts and leave out
the name calling.

Travis, do some research into the types of legislation that the CAI
supports and the type that they oppose. In my state, they oppose
closing a loophole that allows foreclosures for fines and fees, which
is protected under the property code. No big deal, right? Well
consider that HOA boards have no supervision and are not accountable to
anyone. They can do whatever they want and are legally indemnified
doing it. What do you think happends if one of those board members,
out of thousands, decides to pursue a personal issue with a home owner?
What if that HOA allows for non-judicial foreclsoure? The board can
take the house and it'll never go in front of a court unless the home
owner has deep enough pockets to afford a good lawyer. If you think
I am a nutty pro-homeower's-rights person... I was on my HOAs board
until just recently!
