You need current data, water quality changes over time. Iyou have ciy
water, the water company will have total hardness on thei we site, Use
their max hardness not the average etc..

If you have your own well, you need to test for at least hardness,
iron, TDS (total dissolved solids) and pH. Manganese, Nitrates,
Coliform bacteria, sulfates and chlordes would be nice.
