If you keep their claws clipped you shouldn't have any problem.

Yes, very easy. I just use water with vinegar to mop.

I agree with that. When we went from carpet to hardwood, the dogs had
to go outside. The oldest one couldn't walk on them at all and I was
afraid she'd break a leg or something trying.
