Hello group,
With the booming home prices in my area, 50 miles north of New York
City, I'm seriously considering selling my raised which is in a
private community, on a lake. I have seen 2 other raised ranches listed
in the area are going for $469K! I paid $130K for mine less than ten
years ago and it is paid off.
Anyway, what I intend to do is sell it first(next spring), quit my job,
move to the Melbourne Florida area(I'm an engineer) and rent until I
find a job and an equivalent home to buy for around $200K, cash. I am
37, have a wife and a 2 year old.
Thoughts?
