I am moving my AV equipment into a nearby closet and need some
suggestions around IR repeaters or RF remotes. I have got a 50 inch
plasma that I am putting on the wall and need to move all equipement to
a closet about 20 feet from the TV. I know there are some universal
remotes with RF bases, but they seem very expensive- I am poking holes
in the walls anyway for AV wiring and speakers.
So I am looking for some suggestions. What IR repeater equipment do I
need for a simple system like this? Or are there really some universal
remotes that would make sense?
