So I am watching the Rose Bowl last night on ABC HD.
The picture is noticeably better than 'regular' ABC, but the sound was
pretty lame.
I have got a surround sound system, but only the front speakers seemed to
be putting out sound. Seemed like maybe even just the center speaker.
I switched to INHD, and HBO HD to check and the sound was excellent.
Surround all the way.
Even when I switched to regular ABC, the sound seemed to come from all
speakers, albeit the SAME sound.... No surround.
I assumed this was not my system, as the other HD channels seemed fine,
but it got me wondering why the ABC HD channel would have such poor
sound.
Any help/thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.
