No, just the opposite. I want to control the Insteon units from an X10
controller but using the Insteon technology - not in the X10 mode. I
think the missing piece for you is that Insteon switches can be
configured to be Insteon compatible OR (not AND) act as standard X10
modules. A switch set in the default Insteon mode will NOT respond to
X10 commands without the translator converting X10 to Insteon. If set
up as an X10 switch, one looses all the benefits of Insteon technology
