Hi all,
I happen to think that the entire real estate market (epsecially
California) is headed for a nasty crash. I just moved out of California
for this reason. I happen to think that 2007 will be the worst of it.
I won't go into all the details, but I have debated this with several people
and I have heard lots of good points on both sides of the argument. But I'm
still convinced.
So, what I am looking for is a way to put my money where my mouth is. Is
there something that you can invest in that would basically be the
equivalent of short-selling a stock, but with real estate?
I've somewhere from $5K to $10K to invest, so I am not talking about
hundreds of thousands of dollars here, and I am not looking for anything as
large-scale as buying/selling foreclosed properties. But there are surely
investments out there that cater to the real estate pessimists... right?
