I've an extremely limited space for a complete home theatre. is a media
niche built into the wall that's 40 inches wide, 35 inches tall and 20
inches deep.
I need to fit a TV, cable or satellite DVR combo box, DVD-recorder and
receiver in this space.
I figure the best use of space for a TV set would be a 30-32 inch LCD
without big built-in speakers.

I'd install a shelf to make 2 levels.
I could put the LCD on the shelf and the components would all have to fit in
the remaining space below.
I may get a Motorola DCT5100 or DCT6200 High Definition DVR from the cable
company.
So, I still need to fit a home theater receiver and DVD recorder. With all
this installed, there isn't enough width left to put the remaining
components all on the same shelf side-by side and there is also limited
height.
Is there a slim HTIB with built-in DVD-recorder or are there very slim
stereo receivers and slim DVD recorders that can be stacked?
