Done - the second Cub Cadet 128 now has a matching snowplow attached. A
little more to do on this one. Had to take off the frame that the mower
deck attaches to - and still have to fit a set of chains to the wheels. It
doesn't have wheel weights on it but I probably won't bother with that. With
chains, I'm not sure how much the weights actually help.

The wheel weights help to balance out the weight of the plow.
I use wheel weights, chains, and a 5 gallon metal jerry can filled with
an antifreeze water mix strapped to the back of the tractor. But I have
to balance out a front mounted snow blower.

I once made the mistake of removing the wheel weights from the
front wheels of my White GT-1810. later I got a real fun ride
while using the rear mounted bagger attachment. yep, balance
is an important thing, especially if you want to make turns.
if just going in a straight line will do then leave the front
wheel weights off while using the real bagger. <g>

duh!

Oh yeah - a front mount snowblower sure requires rear weights to balance it
out but that's a lot heavier than a blade. My JD 110 & snowblower came
with 3 rear weights (bought 2nd hand) - 2 on the wheels and 1 hanging off
the back. Since I have the 2 identical Cub Cadet 128's, one with weights
and one without, I'll see what the difference is with just the blades &
chains.
