Well we got our tv and its freakin amazing!!! First things first, we
changed our old DVD that used componet cables to HDMI, just because we
read and was told that the signal would be much better. Ok now our A/V
reciver. How we had on our old setup was that our Sony HT-6800DP home
system controlled everything. I had our VCR under Video 1, PS2 under
Video 3, DVD, and added some audio hookups for our IPOD as well. This
setup was sooooooo easy just one hit and the tv and audio would change,
now trying to do this configuration with our SXRD we cant seem to get
it too work. In the back of the reciever there is outputs for monitor
componet cables, which I hooked them up to the back of the tv, and when
I hook everything else up, nothing comes up. So my question is, Do I
have to replace my A/V reciever? Or am I missing something?
