Sony Bravia KDL-V40XBR1 LCD backlight question (or any LCD backlight ) br2001 08-15-2006
What is the actual advatage to keep the reduced power saving
option to the "on" setting? Does it merely lower the level of the
backlight to 'save power"? Lowering the backlight level is something I
can do myself in the Wegagate menu.
Also - any advice, opinions, etc regarding the backlight
setting would be most helpful, as I am a little confused as to it's
optimum setting. Will the light - or the LCD screen - "last longer" if
turn down the backlight but turn up the brightness to compensate for the
dimmer backlight setting?
Thanks much in advance....
