The fins on the outside condenser unit for my a/c unit are showing
some significant wear--they are crumbling (sort of like paper or ash)
at the corners of the unit. We had no problems with cooling this past
summer, but are concerned about preventing future problems. This house
will be a rental in the near future, so I want to be sure I replace
whatever needs it now.
Can you just replace a part of the condenser or is would this be a
replacement of the whole unit?
